THE ROLE Plivo is looking for a sales engineer, to be an integral part of our sales team focusing on Plivo's highest value prospects and customers. In this role, you will engage with prospects during the sales cycle from start to end, be the first point of contact with customers and also the go to person for any technical questions related to our APIs from developers and enterprises. Our most successful sales engineers are technically savvy in nature, highly handson and confident with our APIs and use-cases surrounding it and very efficient with written and oral communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualify incoming prospects, follow up, help them with technical queries and assess their potential in the sales funnel. Manage complete pre-sales lifecycle of prospects. Educate customers on various use cases and share best practices for implementing them. Be the subject matter expert of our APIs and platform. Be the point of contact with all project stake holders and assist with any and all pre-sales questions that arise.

REQUIREMENTS

Prior experience in a customer-facing technical role or pre-sales experience preferred. Excellent communication and articulation skills. Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and explain them to customers in logical and simple words.
