Continuing along the thread of building more insight into your designs, today we’re introducing the Color Eyedropper. An important part of the designer to developer workflow is identifying the colors to use while implementing the design. For a common task like this, you shouldn’t have to open a heavy editing program. Now, you won’t have to.
The Color Eyedropper intelligently magnifies the area under your cursor, allowing you to select precise pixel color values. Clicking on any point saves the Hex and RGB values to a color palette for you to retrieve later. The Color Eyedropper also grabs the alpha transparency value for pixels with a set opacity. You can take it for a whirl here.
With the Color Eyedropper, your developer colleagues will spend less time hunting through menus in Photoshop and more time bringing your work to life.
