Quoc Le wants to create technologies that can take entire sentences, whole paragraphs, and other types of natural language and turn them into numbers---or vectors, the mathematical constructs that computer scientists use to translate the things we see and hear into information that machines can grasp. He’s even exploring how machines can understand things like opinions and emotions.
